Sounds of the State

Sounds of the State was a series of interstitial radio shorts I developed and curated for Michigan Radio in collaboration with Katherine Weider. Between 2007-11 we produced and coached almost 100 twenty-second sound-rich vignettes that featured the sounds of Michigan: evocative places, memories, and experiences. These are a few of the 'sonic haiku' I made to punctuate the flow of NPR news and information.
